a meeting of the minds (and I am not included)

I, (Adam) am now sitting in a technical meeting about platforms, Joomla, servers… Something else, and there is that thing about SSL’s.  What is the point you may be asking?  The point is that I love listening to people talk about stuff that I know very little about. Sam, David, and Cody are in talking about what the needs are to the new Warner Pacific website and learning about it is really fun.

I may never know exactly what is going on but the beauty of my job is that I don’t need to.  This is key for any project manger out there right now.  You need to know enough to understand the language but is more important that you understand who to go to to get the proper information and make sure the channels are open to funnel the information back and forth.

Learn how to understand how each team member communicates.  This will help your project move alone at a much more efficient pace.
