Using Social Media for Business

We have clients who ask us if they should be using social media for their business and to get to that answer we need to take a few steps back.  The real question to start with is why do you want to use social media? At Marah we have a love hate relationship with social media for business as it is such a new technology and way to interact that often companies destroy what they have spent so long to build: their reputation, (just check out this social media disaster). And yet, if you have a plan to manage and grow your social media presence it can do wonderful things for an organization, like connecting them on a more personal level with their client base.

The next question to ask if you are thinking about social media for your business is are there enough resources to devote to a social media strategy?
