Developing a System.

CRES reached out to us in the Spring of 2011. They had already completed the visual design of the public website using their own resources, but needed help to bring it all alive. The team at CRES needed to be able to manage 80+ properties and content associated with those properties as streamlined and seamlessly as possible; the goal was to create a system that one staff member could manage. Here, in part, is the work that was created.

Using the system we provided, CRES is able to maintain the functionality they requested:

  • Interactive homepage map
  • Properties slideshow
  • Autocompleting property search
  • A directory of all properties
  • Property "Microsites" (incorporating both site-specific and “reusable” content, blog, image galleries, PDF downloads, custom email mailings)
 

For staff managing the back-end of the site, simple data entry points eliminate confusion with the technology. The result is a powerful system with complicated, flexible functionality that can be easily maintained by a single person of average computer literacy.
